GBO provides the best quality materials for our furniture. We also hold a large portion of sustainable materials to ensure that you are contributing to the environment positively.

At GBO we are providing you with sustainable materials in our furnishings such as Bamboo, Rattan, Recycled Plastic and Glass, FSC Teak, Water Hyacinth, Seagrass, Mango Wood, Suar Wood,  and Banana Leaf.

Sustainable bamboo and rattan are common material used for the construction of Groundbreakers Outdoors and Interiors tables, chairs, hanging baskets and serving trays and wall art. These materials are strong, and robust and the natural character of these materials adds great texture and an organic feel to any room. We use predominantly reclaimed teak wood for our timber furniture requirements. Teak’s high oil content, high tensile strength, natural durability and water resistance makes it particularly suitable for outdoor furniture. It has the advantage of being dry and stable and a sustainable source of timber. The small quantities of new teak we do use are from sustainably managed forests. Other wood we use includes non-threatened species such as Acacia and Mango woods.

GBO's synthetic wicker furniture is made predominantly using strong but light aluminium framing.

These synthetic weaving materials are 100% UV resistant, robust, durable, low-maintenance and easy to clean. One aspect of choosing the right supplier for our weaving material was due to the specific type of polyethylene, our weaving materials can be recycled completely residue free. The world’s best weavers use this quality product to manufacture furniture for Groundbreakers Outdoors and Interiors.
